We recommend flying into Montrose (MTJ) or Telluride (TEX) for all air travel. Other airports include: Durango La-Plata (DRO), Cortez (CEZ), or Grand Junction (GJT).

Due to Telluride's walkability, we recommend hiring a shuttle to transport you and your party to and from Telluride and Mountain Village.

Telluride is a walkable town with limited parking. We recommend using the free bus transit service, Galloping Goose, to get around town, the Gondola, or Mountain Village's Dial-a-Ride service for transportation.

The easiest and most beautiful way to get around when you're here: The towns of Telluride and Mountain Village are linked by a spectacular, free gondola system. This popular scenic attraction also provides access to hiking and biking trails in the summer.

Passengers can load the gondola in either Mountain Village or Telluride and ride to the midway point (Station St. Sophia from which hiking, biking and ski trails are accessed) and then continue on to the other side.

The Gondola runs daily from 6:30 a.m. to midnight.
